#280. Golden Gate.

  5.5 x 9, oil on paper. "Gilbert Munger 1877" lower right. This painting is a small version of paintings #7 and #246. The image is the view looking north across the Golden Gate with Point Lobos on the western San Francisco coast in the foreground. (See this map for details.) It was sold at DuMouchelles, Detroit MI, auction of 20 October 2013 as lot 2009 for $2,500 + 23% to a collector. No provenance information was provided by the auction house.
