#307. Marsh Landscape with Figures and Cows (Barbizon).

  10 x 17, oil on panel. "Gilbert Munger" lower left. A good example of a Munger Barbizon landscape. A badly faded typewritten letter taped to the back says in part:

... This painting comes from the heirs of the W. H. White collection (in Cleveland), having been purchased by Mr. White directly from the artist about 1896.
