  14 × 18, oil on board. "Gilbert Munger" lower left. A paper label on the back in Munger's hand states: "No. 60 / Near Fontainebeau / Gilbert Munger". The title and artist are repeated on a center, bottom, frame plate. Munger painted subjects from the Fontainebleau area many times in the 1880's. This example is typical.
