#315. Landscape with Cows.

  20 x 30, oil on canvas. Signed "Gilbert Munger", lower left. No labels or inscription on the back as of 2020. This is a Barbizon landscape similar in style to many others by Munger. Sold for $550 + 25% at the Skinner, Boston, Studio Art Online Auction 3353T, lot 1218, on 18 March 2020. Sold to a Minnesota collector for $500 + 28% at the Winter Associates, Plainville CT, 10 June 2024 Fine Arts auction, lot 33. After conservation the painting was offered by that buyer on eBay as item 146204347080 in December 2024 for $2,950 or best offer. Image from Skinner auction website.
