#331. A Bend in the River Near Louviers.

  18 x 14.5, meduim not known. "Gilbert Munger" lower left. The American Art Association of New York sold the following painting as lot 38 at their 20 Novenber 1925 sale for $70. The lot is not illustrated, but described as:

38.    A Bend in the River Near Louviers    Open flat country, a stream flowing into the foreground and bordered on the right-hand side by a line of elms; on the further bank at the left wading cattle, and open arable land with a solitary oak.    18 x 14½    Signed lower left: Gilbert Munger.

Louviers is on the Seine River half way between Paris and the river's mouth.
