#341. Cottage by a Stream.
20 x 25, oil on canvas. No signature visible. Faded materials supplier stamp in French on back. The locale assignment is based on the French language materials supplier stamp, and the architecture and materials of the structures. From the back, it is apparent that the picture has been put on a stretcher that is too small -- the canvas overlaps the back of the stretcher. This explains why the tops of the trees are covered by the frame and the right edge of the house touches the frame.
