#6. Yosemite Valley from Old Inspiration Point.   16 x 24, oil on canvas on board. "Gilbert Munger" lower left. Descended in the family of Frederick Clark to the current owner. Clark and Munger were fellow members of the United States Geological Exploration of the 40th Parallel in 1869 and 1870. Munger likely painted the picture for Clark. IAP 70960440. QFD Pl.28.
